I honestly am trying to get back into blogging but what with my intensive driving lessons that I am currently doing and, well, just life in general it is proving a lot harder than you may think.

Anyhoo, I come out of my hectic life for 5 minutes to show support for the breast cancer awareness and fund raising that is going on.

If you didn’t know, this month a host of bloggers have gone Pink for October in order to raise awareness. The Boobie-thon is also well under way and has raised an enormous $8300 so far.

Also, right on topic (see what I did there?? ) is this weeks Topical Tuesday all about peoples breast cancer tales.

I am blessed that no one in my family has had cancer and only one of my friends has family that has had it, and thankfully fought it and won. I am very very lucky. I am however, very aware of it and make sure I check for those signed every so often.

So, if you can, please support your chosen breast cancer charity during this Pink October and remember, Think Pink!

I can’t believe that last time I posted on here was November. Christmas seems like so long ago let alone November.

I would love to be writing more on here but I just don’t have the time. It is now March. In less than two months my dissertation needs to be in, in less than 3 months I will be done with uni for a second time. My dissertation is steaming along, not as fast as I might like it to be but it is getting there. It is a marked improvement on my Derby dissertation though, just for a fact that I didn’t start writing that one until the week before it had to be in. I know… bloody students!

Someone just posted these on facebook, i have no recollection of what they were for, or who the two people in the middle are.

And I don’t know why they are in black and white… surely I’m not that old?

For a while now I have scoffed at my friends that seem to sit on facebook all day poking people and writing on walls. I never got the fascination with the site. I have been a member for a while but rarely checked it and didn’t put too much information on it.

Then, Thursday night I got an email saying that my sister had friended me so I went on to confirm. There I was looking at her profile and reading loads of messages from the people that she went to university with.

The lovely Eliza bless her, is currently suffering a fate worse than death. She is having to suffer the torture of the dreaded windows98 and is stuck with a computer slower than a …. well, something slow… but it is slow, so that’s bad.

I had a very lovely, if only brief lunch with Paul today. It was lovely to see him again and I am very very greatful for him making a special trip to Liverpool to come and help cheer me up.

We ate lunch at a really nice cafe that I will have to make sure I return to (forgotten the name though!) and then headed to a bar for a quiet drink and a chat.

It was really good to catch up and we better do it again soon!

I have left the shop man post as i actually quite like it. It was a nice experience (hell, i got free chocolate) and wanted to share.

Im not going to be down anymore. I can’t. It would cost me far far too much to continue on with what I was doing. What would I loose? A dear, dear friend.

Most of my readers will know what the posts I was refering to were about and I need to tell you all that there is no bad party in this mess. If anything I am the bad party for reacting and attacking in the way I did. And for that i appologise to you all, but mostly to that friend.

If I lost your friendship I don’t think I could smile again and I love to smile. I love my friends and all I want is for them to be happy. I want you to be happy and I hope you are – if i have made you unhappy I am truly sorry. You are so kind, and anyone would be lucky to have you as a friend, I know I am.

I am a stupid and selfish girl that should really think before she acts. I don’t deserve any sympathy from anyone… I dont want anyone to stick up for me, I am the person who wronged, not the person that was wronged.

Friendship is more important to me than anything else and I thankyou all for being my friend.

I realised on Monday that through the hullabaloo of working and general Christmas mayhem I had forgotten to do the obligatory Christmas cards. No matter, there was still time, if I did them and got them on the post ASAP they would get there… one problem… address book in Liverpool, I’m in Northants… hmm!

So, i need to send huge apologies to everyone! I have had some lovely cards from you all. To make up for it I will send you all valentines cards instead! hehe (this is just an excuse for me to actually buy a valentines card for once – i won’t get any but at least I can spread some joy).

p.s. you all need to forget that I said I would send you a valentines card so you can be appropriately surprised when you get it/are not bothered if I forget… hehe
